Resumen : El estudio denominado “Incidencia del COVID 19 en la cartera de las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito del segmento 1 y 2 de la provincia de Tungurahua” busca analizar cómo la pandemia originada por el virus COVID 19 incide en la cartera de crédito de las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito del segmento 1 y 2 de la provincia de Tungurahua, en el periodo 2019-2020, utilizando una población conformada por 9 cooperativas, apoyados por una investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa que permitió analizar el estado en el que se encontró las cooperativas en estudio y también el uso de pruebas estadísticas que comprobaron la hipótesis planteada; entre los principales hallazgos se pudo observar un incremento en el riesgo de liquidez en los primeros 5 meses del año 2020, caídas en la cartera de crédito que se recupera en el segundo semestre del mismo año, mientras que el indicador de liquidez presentó un progresivo incremento en los meses de enero a mayo 2020 hasta el cierre del confinamiento nacional, cuando se permitió un respiro a las cooperativas analizadas, sin embargo, se identificó cierta particularidad en la COAC SAC con respecto a indicadores de Liquidez.
Descripción : The study called "Incidence of Covid 19 in the portfolio of savings and credit cooperatives in segment 1 and 2 of the province of Tungurahua" seeks to analyze how the pandemic caused by the COVID 19 virus affects the credit portfolio of cooperatives of savings and credit of segments 1 and 2 of the province of Tungurahua, in the period 2019-2020, using a population made up of 9 cooperatives, supported by a qualitative and quantitative research that will seek to analyze the state in which the cooperatives were found in study and also the use of statistical tests that verified the hypothesis raised; Among the main findings, an increase in liquidity risk could be observed in the first 5 months of 2020, falls in the loan portfolio, which recovers in the second half of the same year, while the liquidity indicator presented a progressive increase in the months from January to May 2020 until the closure of the national confinement, when a respite was found for the cooperatives analyzed, however, a certain particularity was identified in the COAC SAC with respect to liquidity indicators.
