Descripción : The research was carried out at the “Ecuatoriano Holandés” School of Basic Education in the city of Ambato; the objective is to analyze the methodological strategies of the teachers and their influence with the behavior of the first and second year students of the school. The importance of the development of the research lies in knowing which are the strategies applied by the teachers to facilitate the development of the students and how this favors the behavior or the conduct of the students outside the educational institution in relation to their classmates, teachers and with their learning process. It was supported by a bibliographic analysis facilitating the operationalization of the variables and in this way to know the incidence that the two variables under study have. The information was collected by means of a survey elaborated by the researcher for the execution of the independent variable; for the dependent variable it was carried out by means of the Eyberg Child Behavior Inventory which is directed to the parents; the results were processed in the statistical software SPSS and in Excel. Finally, the statistical method of Chi Square was applied to validate the hypothesis, concluding that the alternative hypothesis is accepted, showing that there is a relationship between the methodological strategies applied by the teachers and the behavior of the children in the educational institution.
