| Resumen : | El presente trabajo investigativo tiene como propósito evaluar a la obra de María Fernanda Heredia como instrumento para generar interés por la lectura dentro de la Unidad Educativa Luis Fernando Ruiz de la ciudad de Latacunga. De acuerdo a investigaciones previas revisadas en los fundamentos teóricos se puede establecer que en otras instituciones ha resultado favorable tratar la obra María Fernanda Heredia como recurso para crear interés lector en los estudiantes que están empezando a leer obras más extensas. La metodología aplicada en la investigación es de tipo exploratoria y descriptiva, con un enfoque mixto dado que se usó instrumentos de recolección de datos como la entrevista y la encuesta, mientras que la modalidad básica es de campo y bibliográfica documental. Los resultados que se evidenciaron en la recolección de datos fueron que la mayoría de estudiantes del nivel medio muestran poco interés por la lectura, también se pudo conocer que la mayoría gustan de lecturas cuyos temas sean el amor, la amistad y el humor, una vez expuesto que María Fernanda Heredia incluía esta temática en sus libros los estudiantes se mostraban interesados en leer su obra.Por último, se concluyó que, si bien existía desinterés por la lectura en la institución en estudio, tanto docentes como autoridades estaban de acuerdo en incluir la obra de María Fernanda Heredia como un recurso dentro de las aulas del nivel media de Educación General Básica para fomentar el interés lector. Las características que sobresalen en la obra de Heredia han resultado coincidir con algunos de los gustos de los lectores de este nivel de educación, por lo que resulta importante sugerir dicha obra como un recurso en la etapa de la prelectura para motivar el interés lector; cabe resaltar que con los estudiantes no se desarrolló el proceso lector por ser esta investigación de carácter descriptivo |
| Descripción : | The purpose of this research work is to evaluate Maria Fernanda Heredia’s work, as an instrument to generate interest in reading inside Luis Fernando Ruiz High School in Latacunga city. According to previous research reviewed in the theoretical foundations, it can be established that in other institutions it has been favorable to treat the work María Fernanda Heredia as a resource to create reading interest in students who are beginning to read more extensive works. The methodology used in this investigation, is exploratory and descriptive, with a mixed approach, since data collection instruments such as the interview and the survey were used, while the basic modality is field and bibliographic documentary. The results that were evident in the data collection were that the majority of students at the elementary level show little interest in reading, it was also known that the majority like readings whose themes are love, friendship and humor, once exposed that María Fernanda Heredia included this theme in her books, the students were interested in reading her work Finally, it was concluded that, although there was a lack of interest in reading in the institution under study, both teachers and authorities agreed to include the work of María Fernanda Heredia as a resource within the classrooms of the secondary level of General Basic Education for encourage reader interest. The characteristics that stand out in Heredia's work have been found to coincide with some of the tastes of readers of this level of education, so it is important to suggest said work as a resource in the pre-reading stage to motivate reader interest; It should be noted that the reading process was not developed with the students because this research is descriptive in nature |
