Resumen : Currently, in companies and institutions, an adequate approach to staff training is important because through this knowledge can be increased and attitudes at work changed, in this sense organizations seek benefits when deciding invest in training, from this point of view the present project allows to know the relationship that exists between the productivity and training of companies, the problem addressed was the scarce training affects labor productivity in companies in the province of Cotopaxi. Raising as a general objective To determine the relationship between business training and labor productivity in companies that use the services of the institution, the methodology used was the quantitative approach because statistical models were used for testing hypotheses, the research methods used were the field, bibliographic and documentary, the level of relational research was used, the population was of 1080 employees trained by companies attended in training. The technique that was used in the present investigation is the survey with its instrument the questionnaire. To demonstrate the validity of the hypothesis, the applied statistical model was the Friedman test, by which the alternative hypothesis is accepted, which indicates that there is a significant relationship between SECAP training in companies in the province of Cotopaxi and the labor productivity Therefore, it is proposed to develop a comprehensive training plan for companies in the province of Cotopaxi that use SECAP services, which would improve the level of productivity of companies in the province of Cotopaxi.
