Abstract

The present research project aimed to determine a multisensory stimulation room and its effect on psychomotor development in children with cerebral palsy for 1 to 2 years, the project was carried out in the foundation of children Special San Miguel Canton Salcedo. For this we had ten children with cerebral palsy, five children from the multisensory room and five from the early stimulation room. For the evaluation of psychomotor development the Portage Guide was used, which was extremely important, since it allows to know the level of development according to age, in which it was obtained as results of children attending the stimulation room Multisensorial children are more skilled at performing activities compared to children in the early stimulation room, and also contribute to the psychomotor development of children with Cerebral Palsy, as it offers similar stimuli to the environment, while facilitating the development In the environment that surrounds them.
