| Resumen : | El presente proyecto de investigación “El software educativo Microsoft Office en el desempeño académico de los estudiantes de décimo año de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa Joaquín Arias del cantón Pelileo, surge desde el proceso de análisis y síntesis de los antecedentes investigativos y a su vez de la interrogante plasmada en el estudio ¿Por qué los docentes y estudiantes del Sistema Educativo Fiscal emplean un software que a pesar de no ser creado con fines educativos se emplea en este ámbito?, lo cual en base a la recopilación bibliográfica se estableció las razones para que los docentes y estudiantes de la unidad educativa, empleen un software destinado a realizar actividades de oficina, y no la variedad de softwares educativos creados para facilitar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Se estableció los objetivos a alcanzar y la metodología que se emplearía en el desarrollo del proyecto, por ejemplo: el enfoque que es cualitativo y cuantitativo con una modalidad de investigación bibliográfica o documental y de campo, y el nivel de investigación exploratorio. Posteriormente para el proceso de análisis y discusión de resultados se estableció la técnica de la encuesta y el instrumento de recolección de datos el cuestionario lo cual, facilitó comprender la razón de porque los estudiantes y docentes emplean el software Microsoft Office Word o Power Point para el proceso educativo y a su vez, después del proceso de tabulación y análisis estadístico, verificar la hipótesis planteada en el estudio, el software Microsoft Office incide o no en el desempeño académico de los es |
| Descripción : | The present research project “The Microsoft Office Educational Software and the Academic Performance of the Tenth Year of Basic General Education students of the" Joaquín Arias" Educational Unit of the Pelileo canton, arises from the process of analysis and synthesis of the investigative antecedents already turn to the question reflected in the study ¿Why do teachers and students of the Fiscal Education System use software that despite not being created for educational purposes is used in this area?, which based on the bibliographic compilation was established the reasons for teachers and students of the educational unit to use software designed to carry out office activities, and not the variety of educational software created to facilitate the teaching and learning process. The objectives to be achieved and the methodology that would be used in the development of the project were established, for example: the approach that is qualitative and quantitative with a bibliographic or documentary and field research modality, and the level of exploratory research. Subsequently, for the process of analysis and discussion of results, the survey technique and the questionnaire data collection instrument were established, which facilitated understanding the reason why students and teachers use Microsoft Office Word or Power Point software for the educational process and in turn, after the process of tabulation and statistical analysis, to verify the hypothesis raised in the study, Microsoft Office software affects or not the academic performance of students, and finally establish the appropriate conclusions and recommendations. |
