Abstract: La danza folklórica ecuatoriana en la motricidad gruesa de los niños y niñas del nivel inicial II de la Unidad Educativa “Blaise Pascal” de la ciudad de Salcedo, esta investigación es muy importante y esencial, puesto que, brinda un gran aporte científico a cada uno de los docentes y padres de familia de la Institución, promoviendo la práctica de la danza folklórica ecuatoriana para mejorar la motricidad gruesa de los niños y niñas. Se recolecto fuentes de información para basarnos en la investigación la cual nos sirvió para elaborar el marco teórico con respecto a las dos variables. Se aplicó la entrevista con su respectivo cuestionario a docentes de educación inicial y padres de familia de educación inicial II de la Unidad Educativa “Blaise Pascal” y a los niños y niñas el test de desarrollo motor, para obtener resultados específicos, estadísticos y establecer conclusiones y recomendaciones. Estos resultados comprobaron los objetivos e hipótesis planteada. Al final se puede determinar que, mediante la práctica de la danza folclórica ecuatoriana, facilita el desarrollo de sus habilidades, destrezas, flexibilidad del cuerpo, equilibrio, ritmo, coordinación y fortalecer el reconocimiento de la cultura, tradición y música ecuatoriana. Por esta razón, se considera este proyecto innovador e indispensable en el aprendizaje y desarrollo motor.
Description: Ecuadorian folkloric dance in the gross motor skills of boys and girls at level II of the "Blaise Pascal" Educational Unit in the city of Salcedo, this research is very important and essential, since it provides a great scientific contribution to each of the teachers and parents of the Institution, promoting the practice of Ecuadorian folkloric dance to improve the gross motor skills of the boys and girls. Sources of information were collected in order to base the research on which we used to elaborate the theoretical framework with respect to the two variables. The interview with its respective questionnaire was applied to early education teachers and parents of early education II of the "Blaise Pascal" Educational Unit and to the children the motor development test, in order to obtain specific and statistical results and to establish conclusions and recommendations. These results proved the objectives and hypotheses. In the end, it can be determined that, through the practice of Ecuadorian folkloric dance, it facilitates the development of their abilities, skills, body flexibility, balance, rhythm, coordination and strengthens the recognition of Ecuadorian culture, tradition and music. For this reason, this project is considered innovative and essential for learning and motor development
