Resumen : El trabajo de investigación tendrá como objetivo la reactivación del turismo cultural mediante un plan de marketing digital, la pandemia Coronavirus (COVID 19) ha afectado en gran parte al turismo, a la economía y al sector social. A nivel mundial, el turismo ha sido uno de los sectores más golpeados, han existido distintos problemas como el confinamiento, el cierre de establecimientos turísticos y que disminuye el número de arribos de turistas. En este caso se busca la reactivación por medio de la tecnología la cual ha sido un gran aliado para que el mundo se encuentra conectado a través de medios tecnológicos, además de promocionar sitios de interés cultural. Igualmente se busca identificar si el marketing digital es un instrumento importante para promocionar el turismo y cuáles son las redes sociales más utilizadas para difundir información acerca de la cultura del cantón. Se ha recopilado información y datos, mediante los cuales permitirán conocer en qué medida la pandemia ha afectado el turismo cultural, al mismo tiempo identificar cuáles son los sitios turísticos más importantes y cuál será la estrategia para incrementar en número de arribo de turistas, además de cuáles son las páginas webs más adecuadas para promocionar el turismo cultural. Finalmente, los resultados revelaron que el turismo cultural tardara un largo tiempo en recuperarse, pero que la tecnología ha sido una de las herramientas más fundamentales para promocionar al turismo cultural, al igual que reactivar la economía.
Descripción : The research work will aim to reactivate cultural tourism through a digital marketing plan, the Coronavirus (COVID 19) pandemic has largely affected tourism, the economy and the social sector. Worldwide, tourism has been one of the worst hit sectors, there have been different problems such as confinement, the closure of tourist establishments and that the number of tourist arrivals decreases. In this case, reactivation is sought through technology, which has been a great ally so that the world is connected through technological means, in addition to promoting sites of cultural interest. It also seeks to identify whether digital marketing is an important instrument to promote tourism and which are the most used social networks to disseminate information about the culture of the canton. Information and data have been collected, through which they will allow to know to what extent the pandemic has affected cultural tourism, at the same time identifying which are the most important tourist sites and what will be the strategy to increase the number of tourist arrivals, in addition to which are the most suitable web pages to promote cultural tourism. Finally, the results revealed that cultural tourism took a long time to recover, but that technology has been one of the most fundamental tools to promote cultural tourism, as well as to reactivate the economy.
