This work analyzes creative writing, through dynamic and interactive techniques that promote the production of literary texts, with the purpose of encouraging, creating, inventing, relearning, reconstructing texts and strengthening the micro-skills of writing. Literary production benefits creative thinking skills as: imagination, innovation, originality and freedom of expression from the use of language and meaningful learning. Nevertheless, in the classroom there are difficulties in producing creative literary texts due to insufficient motivation and the presence of instrumental writing, that is compulsory and academic writing. The research is based on the pedagogy of educational work, didactics as the art of teaching and on the constructivist model, from theory to praxis, where students are active people developing communicative competences. It is taken as a reference to several investigations of national and international context, in such a way that, their contributions have strengthened the written expression and promote a quality education. The research has a mixed approach, basic modality with a descriptive and exploratory purpose to analyze the causes and consequences of the problem studied to a population of 86 people. The results obtained reflect that there is a low level of literary creative writing, the least consolidated being the dramatic genre 4.8%, followed by lyrical 16.9% and narrative 25.3%; while, academic writing 54.2%. The analyzed results express that students have difficulty in generating ideas, constructing a text, developing imagination, linking real and imaginary events to express it in a writing. Therefore, teachers must update their knowledge in the face of new educational demands and, above all, apply creative, meaningful and innovative techniques to improve communication skills and literary creation, motivating and developing students' writing skillses_ES
