Descripción : The present investigation analyzes the main problems that the companies of the textile sector go through, at the moment of: executing their production, an inadequate management of inventories, restrictive resources and bottlenecks. At the same time, the theory of constraints was proposed as a tool that solves this problem through management and evaluation indicators, in order to demonstrate its financial impact. For that, a case study was carried out in the company PRODUTEXTI CIA. LTDA The objective of the investigation was to determine the productive situation of the referring company, based on the application of the proposed methodology. The study addressed an experimental-longitudinal methodological design, using a quantitative approach. The scope of the study is correlational, since it showed how the periods of study are related to the changes implemented. The one-factor ANOVA statistical model was used to assert the hypothetical criterion. The results obtained revealed that, the indicator of net profit, shows that the microfiber jugs produce greater utility to the organization, nevertheless, the company obtains a return on investment of 19% in the year. In relation to the hypothetical criterion identified at the beginning of the investigation, the predicted assumption was affirmed, so that, the application of the theory of constraints if it favors the productive development of the companies It was concluded that, the small companies of the textile sector of the province of Tungurahua, could adopt the TOC model to improve their productivity and economic benefits, because they are unaware of the theory of constraints.
