Caracterización de la curva de consumo diario de la red de agua potable del sector Pishilata III del cantón Ambato

Abstract

The present experimental work has the goal of making a characterisation of the curve about the daily consume of the potable water net in Pishilata III located in Ambato city. With the mentioned curve we can determinate the demand Per Cápita of potable water on the investigated sector relating it with the social- economic situation. The experimental work begging with the demand's measure of potable water for the users in the sector. It provides consumption patterns based on the hourly and daily basis, average consumption per household and per capita consumption. After this we proceed with a mapping of the important points and samples taked by our software ArcMap. For the development of the present work we beggin with the collection of data and information needed about the two nets of distribution "El Rosario and "Acuifero de Picaihua" this two supplies the vital liquid to the users; it's administrated by "Empresa Municipal de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado (EMAPA)". A poll applied to the residents of the sector by the mentioned institution plus the measure of pressure in estrategic points and determinated time. As the conclusion of the statistics and results we may say that the quality and quantity of potable water volume, consume patterns, changes on the pressure along the distribution net, by expressing them on tables and finally generate a mapping on the software. Thus it was obtained that the average value of the sector is 0.66 m3/d, the hourly pattern 11.23m3 the per capita value is 165 L/hab/d, a daily consumption of 0.47 m3/d and a hourly consumption that is evidenced by day getting the most value on Wednesday afternoons and weekends on Sunday afternoons.
