El color en el diseño interior de la clínica pediátrica Firenze, en la Ciudad de Latacunga

Abstract

This research paper aims at establishing the parameters of chromatic design that contribute to enhance the environmental and humanized conditions of the interior spaces in the Firenze Pediatric Clinis of the City of Latacunga (according to the demands and interior needs of each space); with the purpose of providing the user with the experience of living in medical spaces designed based on their needs, not only on a physical level and within the scope of what is regulated by the Ministry of Public Health of Ecuador, but also focused on their perceptual requirements , psychological, cognitive and emotional. The purpose is to affect through chromatic stimuli, the way in which the pediatric service is perceived, with respect to comfort conditions, habitability, and the ergonomic-cognitive state of health environments; trying in this way, the stimulation of the organism towards revitalization; for when there is emotional well-being, it is easier for the sick organism to find the (psychological) path to self-healing or the easy acceptance of medical treatments. With this firm objective, the research process collects information regarding color as a strategy and technique of interior design, pointing out the benefits of chromatic design in the visual perception of spaces and in the well-being of users, in an environment that seeks the health of its occupants; emphasizing the most perceptive aspects of the environment and which is often treated as superfluous but which in perspective can satisfy the requirements of the healing environment in its perceptual, ergonomic-cognitive, comfortable-functional (habitability) and therapeutic context.
