Sistema de gestión de calidad y su incidencia en la productividad en las empresas del sector textil de la Provincia de Tungurahua

Abstract

The textile industry represents an important paper inside the manufacture worldwide, nationally and locally, this sector provides economic development to different provinces of the Ecuador being Imbabura, Chimborazo, Azuay, Carchi, Tungurahua and Bolivar those who concentrate the major activity textilera of the region. This work focused in discovering the impact of the system of quality management in the productivity of the companies of the textile sector of the province in order to motivate the management based on quality. The results indicated that the system is scantily, used inside the textile sector of the province in spite of that the majority uses quality standards. This shows the interest to looking for quality inside the organizations. The impact was reflected in the highest calculated index that it there had the companies that use the system of quality management, this with regard to the index of the manufacturing Ecuadoran industry that consists in the CIIU3, numeral 17 of the National Institute of Statistics and Census that provides the standard of 2,0 dollars for unit of input; therefore, it is needed to socialize the international certification in order that the textile sector increases the index of productivity.
