Item El rol de la mujer y la desigualdad en el periodismo deportivo en Ambato(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicaciòn, 2023-08) Tisalema Quinaucho, Edwin Ismael; Proaño Zurita, Jenny de los ÁngelesAt present, despite the fact that we are in the 21st century, there is still inequality in the daily work environment of people between men and women and more so in the field of sports journalism, because the taboo that sports are exclusively for men is maintained, for this reason sports journalism linked to women has not been able to progress.The present investigative work was based on determining the role of women and inequality in sports journalism in Ambato and the methodology that was used was quantitative and qualitative, in the quantitative surveys it was done to 20 male journalists who have a lot of experience in this field of work. In the qualitative one, the interviews that were carried out were with three sports journalists who have extensive experience in the field of journalism in the city of Ambato.The study on the role of women and inequality in sports journalism reveals that the role of women within the radio is to conduct interviews, comments and field border in soccer broadcasts, in addition there is inequality at the time of receiving a salary, since it was possible to diagnose that male journalists are the ones who earn more money and female journalists take a small percentage.It is concluded that in the city of Ambato there is still inequality in the field of sports journalism, either in the functions that are carried out within the radio as in the economic revenue that each of them receives each monthItem Canales digitales: La nueva apuesta del periodismo deportivo(Universidad Técnica de Ambato,Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2022-03) Silva San Lucas, David Andrés; Naranjo Gamboa, Byron OrlandoSports journalism has witnessed a technological transformation that has not left aside this journalistic field, society always seeks to be informed about national and international events around the world and the media have had to migrate to these virtual spaces to be in tune with the current requirements of users. This study investigates the narratives and the main changes that sports journalism has had, trying to renew its dissemination formats, which have allowed to incorporate more entertainment to the products that are consumed. To check the change that sports media and their journalists are constantly making, with the aim of staying current within a world as competitive as communication and journalism, in the first place, a netgraphy also known as virtual etnography has been carried out, seeking from the digital experience itself to contribute the research, in addition, though digital surveys, knows the opinion of users and consumers of sport information and finally, through virtual interviews, talk with communicators within the sports field so that they contribute their academic knowledge and work experience achieved within the profession. People who consume sports information begin to choose to receive information through women, sports journalism is gaining strength at the time of knowing news through women, there are several radios with sports programming that help women have more reach and complement with the man at the moment of informing, at the moment several women around the world are occupying different roles in sports programs. During the investigative process, the role of women in sports radios in the city of Ambato was unknown, deepening the simple fact of being able to occupy the most basic functions within a sports program, but occupying functions as a commentator or rapporteur of a live broadcast of a football match. The woman has been able to arrive with sports information, breaking stereotypes imposed by machismo. Transmitting a live soccer match would allow more listeners to reach the radios of the city of Ambato where they can have an equal role as the woman as well as the man is preparing to issue opinions or comments on the different sports. The woman when occupying a role in a sports program on a radio should make known their ability and their body image will be added, the possibility of accompanying the man in live sports broadcasts has already been accepted by society, but only to do interviews, to be a reporter in the dressing room, to give statistics and to make a commercial voice, but a woman who is prepared and who keeps on updating should dare to climb positions and get to have the command of programming, that is, to have the important function of the Director, of the one who relates, who comments, this can be a benefit for the owners of a radio since a new era of radio would arrive to generate more economic resources.Item Los derechos laborales de los trabajdores de la comuniciación, numeral 2 del Art. 44, de la ley orgánica de comunicación y el ejercicio del periodismo deportivo en la Ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2018-01) Quevedo Zurita, Segundo Luis; Viteri Torres, Walter FranciscoThis research was done with purpose of determinate how the Organic Communication Law (Numeral 2nd, Article 44th) has influence on Sport Journalists‘ Labor Rights and all their possible consequences during their habitual job on Ambato city. The project is being analyzed from two theoretical fundaments will give a better understanding about Organic Communication Law on its Numeral 2nd and Article 44th, besides with the support of 35 academic textbooks and more than eight of the most recent scientific papers, was established the variables for a 12 item-questionnaire with different options to answer them, this document was felled by 20 Broadcast Radio Journalists and the results were tabulated and systematized to identify a co-relation levels between the 2 variables that are being studied and verifying the hypothesis through Chi-Square Statistic Test. If the time is generating change in customs we must learn to adapt also to generate a constant change in our lives because to keep with a single idea in mind there is no more to keep in one place without achieving any personal progress much less professional achievement of the objectives goes always of the hand of the change for the professional and personal improvement.Item La ciudadanía cuencana carece de información periodística deportiva radial y escrita(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales , Carrera de Comunicación Social, 2016-05) Moya Coronel, Carlos Eduardo; Chicaíza Morales, Miguel ÁngelSports journalism is, no doubt, especially in recent times, one of the information tools that have more hearings and public. This, because sports have become increasingly important in a globalized world and secondly, because they also have become commodities that can allow big gains for entrepreneurs and entertainment for the inhabitants of an increasingly interconnected world. This is one of the reasons why we investigate how the practices of sports journalism are held in the city of Cuenca, in two newspapers of importance and stations importance of the city as: Diario El Mercurio and Diario El Tiempo, and Waves and Radio stations Azuayas Tomebamba in between 1 and 15 June 2015 period. For its development we make instruments or sheets analysis of different journalistic genres in order to know how the content and form of these contents are produced and find the strengths and shortcomings of sports journalism in the media, as well as content analysis about programming of the above stations. The analysis of information, corresponding to the first 15 days of the month June, 2015, yielded results that in developing journalistic and in relation to their structures genres appropriate parameters are followed, but, referring to the contents, in some texts, journalists say, emit value judgments and passionate, it that makes you lose objectivity to journalism. In any case, this evidence is not widespread so it is concluded that the journalistic practices in sports journalism are adequate in informing citizens, but remain shortcomings as to educate and entertain, which are important objectives in journalistic communication. From this consideration several proposals and draft outlines aimed at improving these journalistic practices in both cuencanos day, it is also important to mention that the journalist has high social responsibility, le that what he says has a high impact, so you always have to stay away from his role swells, and stay in the guide, that of counselor, the educator, because they depend on new journalistic practices, and new behaviors.
