    Satisfacción laboral y satisfacción marital

    This study examines the relationship between job satisfaction and marital satisfaction among faculty members of the School of Jurisprudence and Social Sciences at the Technical University of Ambato. Using a quantitative approach, validated instruments were applied to measure both variables in a representative sample. Statistical analysis revealed that, in general, there is no significant correlation between these dimensions, suggesting that they tend to function independently. However, a significant relationship was found among men, indicating that their marital well-being may be influenced by job satisfaction, whereas in women, it appears to depend more on emotional and intra-family factors. From a theoretical perspective, job and marital satisfaction are multidimensional constructs with independent foundations, based on theories such as Maslow’s hierarchy of needs and attachment theory. The results showed that 81% of faculty members reported high levels of marital satisfaction, linked to communication and mutual support, while 19% reported moderate levels due to occasional conflicts. These findings highlight the importance of promoting strategies that strengthen relationships and improve the work environment to enhance the overall well-being of faculty members.

    Ciber-violencia y satisfacción laboral en docentes Universitarios

    The objective of this thesis is to analyze the influence of cyber-violence on the job satisfaction of university professors at the Faculty of Jurisprudence and Social Sciences and the Faculty of Human Sciences and Education at the Technical University of Ambato. Throughout this study, the different types of cyber-violence that professors are exposed to and how these affect their professional well-being are identified. Additionally, the concept of job satisfaction is explored, considering various factors that influence faculty members' experiences within their academic environment. This research is highly relevant to the academic community as it provides a critical perspective on the effects of cyber-violence on the performance and well-being of professors. Moreover, it proposes possible solutions to mitigate these impacts and improve the quality of work life in the university setting. Through this analysis, the aim is to contribute to the creation of a safer and more satisfying work environment for university professors.

    Análisis situacional de la remuneración de los jóvenes periodistas deportivos en la ciudad de Ambato

    The research conducted on the remuneration of young sports communicators in the city of Ambato aims to analyze the current economic conditions of these professionals. Through surveys and interviews, factors influencing remuneration were identified, such as the lack of clear salary policies, high competition in the job market, and the perception of inadequate academic training for job demands. Additionally, the study explored how current economic conditions affect job satisfaction, revealing a high degree of dissatisfaction with salaries and working conditions, negatively impacting the motivation and performance of sports communicators. The results highlighted the need to improve salary and labor policies and update educational curricula to better align academic training with job market demands. The lack of recognition and appreciation from employers was also identified as a significant factor in dissatisfaction. Recommendations include implementing more equitable and transparent salary policies, creating professional development and mentoring programs, and improving working conditions to foster a more motivating and productive work environment. Close collaboration between educational institutions and media organizations is suggested to update training programs and ensure young sports communicators are well-prepared and valued in the professional field

    Satisfacción Laboral y Relaciones Intrafamiliares

    Work and family are important aspects in the life of the human being, when speaking of self-realization, both aspects are considered fundamental in the different stages of development. To do this, the research aims to analyze the influence of job satisfaction on intrafamily relationships of teachers at the Faculty of Jurisprudence and Social Sciences. A qualitative-quantitative methodology was used, at a descriptive and correlational level, we worked with a population of forty-four teachers, the information was obtained through the application of three instruments related to both variables. The level of considerable job satisfaction in teachers, it was determined that 65.9% of teachers are satisfied with their work, and the quality of intra-family relationships, and thirty-four teachers presented very close relationships in their families, based on the quality of communication, time shared between the union and family support. In addition, regarding the influence of job satisfaction on intra-family relationships, it was shown that there is no correlation according to Spearman's test, concluding that there is a balance on the part of teachers, which has allowed for a reconciliation between work and family life. However, the importance of both axes is taken into account as a fundamental part for teachers. The research is strategic for Social Work when it comes to knowing how the different social scenarios evolve differently for people, and how the family manages to readapt and build apprehensible intra-family relationships in the face of external events, generating internal harmony.

    Empowerment y Trabajo Social para el fortalecimiento del clima laboral

    The research is aimed at determining the incidence of empowerment for the strengthening of the working environment of the workers of the company Olya Farms S.A. for which the background, related to empowerment, social work, work environment and some of its elements were considered. Methodologically, this study is considered to have a quantitative approach, since the main source for the analysis is the data obtained. The design is non-experimental since only the phenomenon was observed and was subsequently analyzed. The research modality is field based on the fact that the data was collected directly from reality, without intermediaries, while the level or type is descriptive. The population corresponds to 113 workers in the operating area, of whom after applying the corresponding statistical formula, a sample of 87 workers was obtained. To complete the methodology, the table of operationalization of variables is presented, which served as the basis for preparing the instrument. The results of the study showed that 56% of workers manifest situations related to structural empowerment, especially in knowledge of the functions of colleagues. Similarly, 82% say they cannot solve problems that arise. It is also observed that 31% of workers express dissatisfaction with communication, so it is necessary to implement empowerment strategies or techniques in workers in the operational area so that the company has added value and it is there that social work is important to support this process.
