The characteristics of the work of the employees of the Ambato Fire Department (CBA) require, to fulfill their missions, teamwork and the existence of labor relations, based on values. The objective of this work was to determine the influence of organizational values on the work environment in public servants of the CBA. For the development of the research, a sample of 116 was studied from a population of 170 workers. To characterize the organizational values, a questionnaire prepared by the author was applied, containing 6 items, with the organizational values of the organization. The instrument alternatives respond to a 5-point Likert scale. It was considered that the values were present in the orientation of the entity's goals, when the evaluation given to the indicator by the respondent was Always and Almost always, in a proportion greater than 75%. To determine the Work Environment, the questionnaire developed by the author was applied, which had 26 items, structured in 7 dimensions. An Excel spreadsheet was used to process the collected information. To establish the relationship between organizational values and work environment, Spearman's rho coefficient was determined through the SPSS 29.0.10 statistical package. Among the results, the predominance of the young workforce (58%) and the female sex (58%) in administrative activity stands out. The perception of the respondents, regarding the organizational values, was the following: selflessness (84%), discipline (97%), honesty (98%), loyalty (97%), respect (96) and solidarity (96%). The correlation between organizational values and work environment was significantly positive. It was concluded that in the CBA there is a high perception of the existence of organizational values, which are related to the favorable work environment. The proposed strategy contains the main actions to continue strengthening organizational values, in favor of maintaining and improving a good work environment. Consequently, its implementation in the CBA is recommended
