Item Análisis de Políticas Públicas de Gestión Ambiental para el manejo de desechos plásticos en el Cantón Ambato(Universidad Tècnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Derecho, 2023-09) Aguirre Burgos, Dayana Michelle; Vayas Castro, Guillermo SantiagoSolid waste management in a society is one of the most polluting practices and direct effects on the environment, due to the concentrated population density, the industrialization of single-use products and the lack of integrated solid waste management by local governments; The Ministry of the Environment as the institution in charge of the conservation of the environment that obviously affects the health of human beings, this entity constantly creates public policies that are applied in a national way whose objective is to mitigate the environmental impact through the action of the mentioned policies by means of all the municipalities of Ecuador, a legal tool are the ordinances enjoying competence and jurisdiction for the development of plans under the preservation of the environment and the Good Living of its inhabitants; National policies are directed to both the public and private sectors; being plastic the main pollutant due to its popular use, regulations have been developed for both its producers and final consumers, focusing on recycling and reuse of plastic as part of a circular economy, a cycle that is achieved through the correct separation of waste from the source, both in homes and industries
