Botany uses thousands of data in a series of research studies, secure of data is a mandatory requirement. Every record needs to be correctly registered, an incorrect record could be critical when starting a new study. The main porpose of this study project is to build a web application focused on information management. This includes security protocols, correct data organization and dynamic presentation of data. The development technique used in this project took the strengths of agile XP methodology, enabling continuous software deliveries to the customer over the building of the web system. However, one of the main challenges is the lack of traceability, which hinders the tracking, access, and efficient management of information. For this reason, the objective of this project is to implement a web application using the Angular framework for document management in the Administrative Area of Cooperativa de Ahorro y Crédito Chibuleo Ltda. To address this problem, an applied research was carried out to identify the needs of the area and define the functional requirements of the system. The developed solution uses Angular for the creation of the frontend and .NET for the construction of the backend. In addition, the Lean Software Development methodology was applied, which allowed an agile development and incremental deliveries with a focus on quality in each phase. The implementation of the system generated significant improvements in the Cooperative's document management. Among the main results are the reduction of time in administrative processes, the increase in productivity and the guarantee of transparency in document management. Carrera de Software, 2024-08) Montero López, Daniel Eduardo; Ibarra Torres, Oscar FernandoIn sales management and electronic invoicing, it is crucial to have an integrated solution that avoids errors, delays and compliance issues, which can negatively affect a company's competitiveness. The absence of a unified system in these processes can result in significant inefficiencies. The main goal of the project is to develop an electronic invoicing module that seamlessly integrates with the "aTiendo" system. In addition, the module's performance was evaluated using ISO/IEC 25010 standards to ensure its efficiency. The development of the module involved the use of technologies such as Angular, ASP .Net, phpMyAdmin and Apache JMeter. Through surveys and meetings, client requirements were gathered to ensure that the module met the specific needs of the company. Functionalities developed included the generation and sending of electronic invoices, sales data management and detailed reporting. The project was managed with an incremental software development methodology, by clearly defining roles and creating a delivery plan divided into increments. This allowed to address in an organized and efficient way the different stages of the development, ensuring the successful completion of the module. The importance of the development is that the module will allow an effective integration with the "aTiendo" system, offering advanced sales listing, management and reporting capabilities. Additionally, the module will facilitate the generation and sending of invoices in PDF format by e-mail, as well as the implementation of an electronic signature system for invoice validation.Item Sistema web y móvil para la sistematización de la gestión administrativa y de asambleas del conjunto habitacional “El Portal de la Viña”(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Carrera de Software, 2024-08) Tigselema Pacheco, Alex Ignacio; Torres Valverde, Leonardo DavidThe “El Portal de la Viña” housing complex consists of 303 residences, which makes it difficult for the board of directors to control the administrative processes, giving rise to challenges in the management of parking spaces, calls, and in treasury, since these processes are carried out manually. This project implements a web management system along with a mobile application to systematize the administrative and financial processes of the housing complex. In addition, geolocation is used as a mechanism to verify attendance and voting at assemblies. To do this, the Haversine formula is used to accurately calculate the distance between the resident’s location and the assembly point, thus ensuring that only those present can participate in the votes. The housing complex management system includes modules for the administration of owners, residences, payments, calls, guardianship, and parking. Modern technologies such as Angular and Ionic frameworks were used for the web and mobile client, respectively. For the development of the application programming interface (API), the Spring Boot framework was used along with PostgreSQL as a database manager. The validation of the implemented system was carried out by applying the technology acceptance model (TAM) to the residents of the housing complex, resulting in a positive acceptance of the proposed system. Healthcare, as a critical global industry, must integrate these new technologies to offer enhanced automated services and ensure secure information management. Therefore, adopting digital medical records to effectively register and monitor vital patient information is crucial. The aim of this research project is to develop a web application focused on addressing the challenges posed by paper-based management of dental records and appointments. This includes scheduling appointments, managing patients, users, and dentists. This system aims to streamline the search process for patient records and their associated information. Additionally, it organizes dental appointments to prevent scheduling conflicts and reduce waiting times at the establishment. The methodology employed in the project combined the strengths of Agile RAD methodology, facilitating continuous software deliveries to the client for ongoing user feedback, with Kanban's user story advantages for task execution across phases: backlog, in progress, and completed. Iterations were assigned with corresponding tasks, covering interface design, database development, and application implementation. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información, 2024-08) Ases Villacís, Jairo Mauricio; Aldás Flores, Clay FernandoOver time, commerce has experienced accelerated growth, which has generated a global expansion of supermarkets. due to their high competition, their main objective is the customer experience. This study addresses one of the most common challenges in the supermarket checkout process, specifically in handling unlabeled products. Therefore, applied research has been used, combining surveys of cashier staff and a sample of customers to collect information and opinions, in order to identify perceptions and possible improvements, while the assistance of the staff in generating their barcode when it is presented in a purchase, which customer discomfort and even lead to lost sales. The project materializes as a mobile application for Android devices, built-in Kotlin using Jetpack Compose. This application was also guided by the 5 phases of the Mobile-d methodology, developed with an API-Rest from Nodejs and an administrative panel in the Angular framework. Finally, the project has successfully culminated with the implementation of an innovative solution. Through a search accompanied by images for easy identification. Effective control within organizations enables them to maintain leadership in their industry and make informed decisions. The project's purpose is to create a progressive web application that facilitates the determination of production costs for stone materials at "ALVARADO ORTIZ CONSTRUCTORES" in Ambato. This is due to a deficient identification in obtaining these costs. The implementation of the progressive web application has not only optimized the identification of these costs but has also improved the processing times required to determine them, allowing efficient production management. For the development of the progressive web application, the Open Source Angular framework was employed, using TypeScript as the programming language. This implementation effectively facilitated the development of functionalities in the project. Additionally, the ASP.NET Core framework was used as the backend, enabling proper handling of HTTP request traffic. SQL Server was chosen as the database. The applied methodology was XP, providing adequate control over the activities outlined in the proposal. (EEASA). The application utilizes socket technologies to provide real-time visualization of project progress. Initial analysis revealed deficiencies in project management processes at EEASA; stakeholder interviews provided insights into challenges and essential requirements, justifying the need for an automated solution. The RAD development methodology allowed for agile and consistent execution. The program is notable for its capacity to improve decision-making by providing real-time information through sockets, thanks to its Angular frontend and Spring Boot backend. Through the resolution of issues, the program secures data integrity and enhances project control and monitoring productivity, timeliness, and security. The strategic choice of technologies, methodologies, and frameworks contributed to the project's success, providing EEASA with an effective tool to manage large-scale projects and enhance the user experience. Angular was used in the frontend, providing a dynamic and intuitive interface, while the backend was implemented with Node.js for fast and efficient executions. State-of-the-art technologies, such as Wave Grandstream, were incorporated to improve the quality of voice calls. In terms of database, MongoDB was chosen, offering flexibility and scalability to manage large volumes of data. Regarding the development methodology, the XP methodology was adopted, which stands out for its agile approach. This allowed a flexible adaptation to change in the project requirements and a continuous delivery of functionalities. The system consists of several modules designed to optimize management and communication with partners. The Debt Collection Module facilitates the efficient management of outstanding payments with clear visualizations and analytical tools. The Mailing Module automates birthday greetings and tracks detailed mailings. The Forms Module enables the creation and management of customized surveys, while the Campaigns Module facilitates the planning and execution of campaigns, leveraging database information. Carrera de Software, 2024-02) Carrera Mantilla, Ariel Alejandro; Ibarra Torres, Oscar FernandoIn today’s environment, knowledge plays a crucial role for success in various areas. An adequate level of knowledge allows one to understand the environment, make informed decisions, solve everyday problems and continuously improve. In the workplace, having trained personnel aware of their responsibilities is essential to achieve efficiency and productivity, which leads to greater competitiveness and business success. At Empresa El´ectrica Ambato Regional Centro Norte S.A. (EEASA), inefficient training and evaluation processes were identified due to the lack of an adequate technological solution. To address this situation, an initial observation of the training and evaluation process was carried out, followed by a survey of 199 employees and an interview with the head of the IT area. The results showed that 82.4% of those surveyed agreed to reinforce their knowledge and be evaluated through an online platform as part of the process. In this sense, the project focused on developing and implementing a web application to evaluate and strengthen the technical knowledge of EEASA employees. The AUP methodology was obtained to manage the project in an agile way, facilitating the process in each phase of the application’s life cycle. After the implementation, usability tests and surveys were carried out to evaluate its impact. The results showed that the majority of users perceived a significant improvement in the efficiency and ease of access to training resources and assessments, having a positive impact on their work productivity and effectiveness in the learning experience.
