Item Funcionalidad familiar y asertividad en estudiantes de educación general básica superior y bachillerato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2023-03-01) Carrasco Sánchez, Adriana Elizabeth; García Ramos, Diana Carolina Ps. Cl. Mg.Students who are passive victims of bullying have difficulties in assertiveness, a social skill most frequently learned in the family. The objective was to determine the relationship between family functionality and assertiveness dimensions in 87 students of a PCEI educational institution in Tungurahua. The research approach was quantitative, correlational in scope, nonexperimental and cross-sectional design. The instruments applied were the Family Functioning Perception Test (FF-SIL) and the Multidimensional Assertiveness Scale (EMA). The results showed a moderate positive relationship between family functionality and one of the dimensions of assertiveness: assertiveness (R= 0.605, p < 0.01); the highest percentage (46%) corresponded to individuals who expressed having a moderately functional family; in the three dimensions of assertiveness there was a predominance of subjects who are in the normal range; the mean family functionality score in men (H=44.4) was not significantly different from that in women (M=47.2). In conclusion, the higher the family functionality, the higher the assertiveness; there was a predominance of families that partially develop seven categories; most of the students in each of the assertiveness dimensions reflected a fluctuating and intermediate degree and finally, sex did not interfere in family functionalityItem Dependencia a los videojuegos y su relación con la funcionalidad familiar en niños de educación básica(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/ Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud /Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2022-03-01) Tapia Zapata, Nasly Andrea; Gaibor Gonzalez, Ismael Alvaro Psi.Cl.Mg.The present research aimed to determine the relationship between family functionality and dependence on video games in elementary school children from the Jean Piaget Private Educational Unit in the province of Cotopaxi. In this descriptive, correlational and cross-sectional research, we worked with a sample of 90 children from the third to the seventh year of basic education, 40 male and 50 female. Two psychological reagents were applied: Videogame Dependence (TDV) and Family Apgar for Children. The data analysis was carried out in the SPSS program using the Spearman Rho test, in which it was obtained as a result that there is no relationship between the variables of family functionality and dependence on video games because the (Rho = -0.027 , p> 0.05). According to the results, the majority of the surveyed population has normal family functionality and although the hypothesis was not verified, it can be shown that when there is a presence of severe family dysfunction, dependence on video games tends to be high.Item Funcionalidad familiar y calidad de vida en adultos mayores(Universidad Técnica de Ambato/Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud/Carrera de Psicología Clínica, 2020-10-01) Altamirano Núñez, Vanessa Alexandra; Gaibor González, Ismael ÁlvaroPsi. Mg.The objective of this research work was to determine the relationship between family functionality and the quality of life in older adults of the Gerontological Center "Life to the years", a correlational research design was established, with a quantitative approach, with a cut cross and field; It is needed with a population of 50 people over 60 years of age, 33 people of the female gender and 17 people of the male gender who attend the day care center daily to receive physical, psychological, emotional and cognitive support due to the multidisciplinary work that the institution providing. To collect the information, it is evaluated individually in each of the institutionalized ones using validated instruments such as the Family Functionality test (FF - SIL) and the Quality of Life scale (FUMAT). In results, the Pearson's R correlation test shows that there is a direct correlation between family functionality and quality of life through (R = 0.748, N = 50, p <0.01), so the hypothesis is accepted alternative, since 70% of the population has a functional family, 38% a very good quality of life and 44% high quality of life; that is to say, the greater the family functionality, the greater the quality of life, there is also no significant difference with respect to gender in the level of family functionality and quality of life.Item Adolescentes que escuchan el Género Rock y su Influencia en la Disfuncionalidad Familiar en la Unidad Educativa Mario Cobo Barona del Cantón Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato-Facultad de Ciencias de la Salud-Carrera Psicología Clínica, 2016-09-01) Guevara Arroba, Carina Elizabeth; Sandoval Villalba, Juan Francisco Psc. Cl.Music has always played an important role in learning and culture, being able to influence customs and emotions is why the rock genre undoubtedly a musical genre that is more present in everyday teenager then, gender Listen rock influences adolescent dysfunctional families ?. This study answers this question through two instruments applied to students of the educational unit Mario Barona, one to measure gender preference or taste for rock, and another to know the levels of family functioning (FF-SIL). The analysis focused on whether the rock genre influences family dysfunctionality of adolescents. In the results it is found that 155 students hear the rock genre, 70 of them have a functional family and 18 students have a severely dysfunctional family, concluding that the rock genre in general is not a factor that can influence a teenager has a dysfunctional family.
