Carrera de Diseño Gráfico Publicitario., 2018-07) Morales González, Juan Gabriel; Álvarez Lizano, Iván PatricioThis project deepens in the study of new tools that graphic design can contribute through the multimedia branch to other areas such as ecotourism and promote the development and modernization of its current resources, constituting a research topic that covers several important points and leaves the possibility for future research and application contributions. The difficulty of moving within the San Martín Zoo of the Baños de Agua Santa Canton, creates the need to implement or modernize the resources that serve to properly guide visitors to this site. This need leads us to an investigation that demonstrates that graphic design can serve as a tool through its different areas such as multimedia design and large-scale contribution to the improvement of obsolete resources, reaching to show a proposal of interfaces for an application Mobile and Touch Screens, which will help and facilitate the mobilization of the tourist in the facilities of the zoo. To arrive at this result, interviews and surveys were applied to both zoo authorities and national and foreign tourists, in order to maintain real data in this research and carry out analyzes, conclusions and recommendations that will help resolve the problems encountered. The objective of this research is to demonstrate the importance of multimedia design as an alternative tool in guiding and ecotourist orientation for tourists within the "San Martín" zoo in the Baños de Agua Santa canton, analyzing which parameters are the most appropriate to adapt them to a strategy that helps the adequate and satisfactory displacement. The methodologies of this project directs us to develop qualitative and quantitative techniques to determine the situations in a real environment that affect the problem, to be able to check and obtain possible solutions through multimedia design that facilitate orientation in a tourist site.
