The objective of this study is to analyze the educational role of the nursing professional perceived by pregnant women during prenatal control, La Victoria Parish 2020. A descriptive research was carried out with a quantitative, field and cross-sectional approach. We worked with 100% of the population, in such a way that aspects of inclusion and exclusion were evaluated, whose population was made up of 19 pregnant women. The data were collected through the instrument (survey), where it was observed that the pregnant women from La Victoria Parish were guided by the nursing staff, in which the pregnant women perceived educational activities by the nursing professional. However, it isn’t a representative percentage that really knows about all pregnancy care, for this, the nursing role must gradually improve and project themselves as professionals that possess skills, abilities and knowledge.
