    This technical project was developed, obtaining production times in the manufacture of seats for buses, by taking times and movements in each of the processes and activities that intervene in the production chain, the report of each of these was made, According to what the company requested, thus managing to identify where there were problems and thus, reduce times in the manufacture of the product, through the redistribution of workspaces, a distribution plan was made in the metalworking sector of the company also implemented the relocation of the machinery, with a continuous flow of the product. Records and specification sheets were made to generate a better production flow, reducing times and movements that did not add value to the process. According to the reengineering of the processes that was implemented, the results of production times that were being managed in the company were compared, and the production times after the relocation of jobs and machinery, represented in graphs times vs. processes, achieving: reduce manufacturing times, a better distribution in the execution of each process in the metalworking area and order in the handling of tools and machinery. Which generate profitability for the manufacture of this product especially when they are lots of considerable quantities.

    For the application of process reengineering in Cepeda Cía. Ltda. Began with a study of the existing production times, being able to determine that these data were obsolete because they were of the year 2012 and for the present, there were activities that were no longer performed but the development time of the same was still considered in production time producing delays in the production line. The activities and sub-activities of the sections: platform, structure, front and backrest, exterior linings, inner and finished linings were updated with these times PERT / CPM diagrams of each section and a general with the purpose of finding the critical path and bottlenecks of each of the aforementioned sections. It was found that the sections that present the greatest number of reprocessing are: outer linings, inner and finished linings, which is why a production manual was developed and applied for these sections in order to standardize the way and process of execution of the activities and sub-activities, while this manual also allows determining those responsible for each reprocessing. As a result of this study, the overall production time was reduced by 11.03 hours and the average number of reprocesses from 12 to 4, resulting in a decrease of more than 60%, reducing the number of reprocessing and delays in the manufacturing process Of interprovincial buses Silver Plus and C5 in Cepeda Cía. Ltda.
