At Curtiduría Tungurahua S.A., a company dedicated to leather processing in Ambato, opportunities for modernization have been identified in tracking formulations during the leather dyeing process. Manual records are prone to loss and errors, leading to wasted time, resources, product quality issues, and additional costs from reprocessing production orders. This research project aims to align a mobile application focused on monitoring and controlling formulations in production orders, particularly in the dyeing process. The tool digitizes information records, enabling centralized and secure access, thus supporting traceability management in production. Using the MOBILE-D methodology, a flexible approach to project management was adopted. The mobile application was developed with the Flutter framework and the Dart programming language. For the backend, a Web Application Programming Interface (API) was created using Python with the minimalist Flask framework, allowing integration with web services and utilizing Oracle as the database, which was already in use by the company for managing other information systems. Acceptance tests were conducted during development to ensure the application’s functionality. The results demonstrate that the application enables organized monitoring and control of formulations in the production process. Its implementation supports error identification and allows for structured information management, contributing to the monitoring of operations related to production orders at Curtiduría Tungurahua.Item Aplicación móvil Android usando Kotlin para el control y monitoreo de la nomofobia en estudiantes de educación básica de la ciudad de Ambato(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. However, their excessive use has raised significant concerns, for which few or no effective solutions have been provided to date. This study focuses on the control and monitoring of students to combat nomophobia and the problems associated with this condition. An applied research approach was conducted, utilizing surveys directed at representatives, students, and teachers from an educational institution. These surveys allowed for the collection of requirements from representatives and teachers for the development of two interconnected applications. Meanwhile, data on the causes of nomophobia were gathered from the students. Additionally, the research was complemented with documentary records to better determine the indicators of nomophobia. The project led to the development of two applications for Android devices. The first, named “Monitora,” is designed to enable representatives to control and monitor students. The second, “Guardian,” operates as a service that collects data related to mobile phone usage and complies with the instructions provided by “Monitora.” For the implementation, Kotlin was used as the programming language, Jetpack Compose for building the user interface, and Firebase Realtime Database as the data storage system. This eliminated the need for a traditional backend and enabled the use of a backend as a service (BaaS). Ltda. Company. To achieve this, a mobile application was implemented using the Ionic Framework, allowing various sales advisors to access detailed information on budgets, bonuses, commissions, the number of sales made per product, and the creation of new clients. The project began with a detailed analysis of the sales budget planning processes, identifying the process followed from the preparation of the sales forecast to the monitoring and evaluation of the budget. This analysis provided a clear and precise vision of the process followed for sales budget planning, which was fundamental for the correct and accurate development of the mobile application. The Ionic Framework was used for the implementation of the mobile application, leveraging its capability to develop efficient mobile applications and create user-friendly interfaces. Additionally, Mobile-D, an agile methodology specifically designed for mobile application development, was employed, facilitating rapid interaction and continuous delivery of the developed application. The use of an agile methodology combined with a Framework like Ionic allowed for rapid and cost-effective development, offering a robust solution that meets the specific needs of Rectima Industry Cia. Ltda. Company. The resulting mobile application streamlined the sales budget management process, ensuring greater operational efficiency and improving the responsiveness of the sales team. The primary objective was to optimize the company's customer service process by integrating technology into its traditional order management system. An in-depth analysis of the existing order management procedures at Ramones Restaurant was conducted, revealing significant inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Various predictive models were evaluated, with a focus on their adaptability, scalability, and potential for integration into the restaurant’s operational structure. Artificial neural networks were identified as the most suitable due to their flexible architecture. The mobile application was developed using robust software frameworks, facilitating a faster and more efficient development process. The mobile application was developed using the Scrumban agile methodology, to ensure adaptability to changing requirements and unforeseen challenges. The implementation of the application demonstrated the feasibility and benefits of introducing advanced technologies in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The findings suggest that such integrations can be successfully achieved with careful planning and consideration of business-specific complexities. The study recommends further comparative analysis of predictive models to optimize the application’s performance. Future research should explore the broader impact of technology implementation in SMEs. Carrera de Tecnologías de la Información, 2023-09) Moposita Pullupaxi, Stalin Israel; Jara Moya, Santiago DavidServicio Automotorizado Nacional de Transporte Ambateño is a cooperative based in the city of Ambato that is dedicated to passenger transportation by buses on an interprovincial level, providing efficient, comfortable, and safe services to customers. The identified problem lies in the difficulties experienced by customers during the physical purchase of travel tickets. The development of a mobile application with electronic ticketing seek to address this problem . The mobile application allows customers to purchase travel tickets quickly, securely, and conveniently, eliminating limitations and issues associated with in person purchases. Information gathering was conducted through surveys and interviews with customers and cooperative staff, allowing for a de tailed understanding of the challenges and needs of users. Based on these findings, a payment system was designed that offers various flexible options such as bank transfers, credit or debit cards, and electronic wallets using Datafast and PayPal as paymen t solutions . The development of the mobile application was carried out using the agile methodology Mobile D, enabling efficient project management and the achievement of set objectives. The mobile application, developed on the Flutter framework and utiliz ing Firebase as the backend system, provides key functionalities such as schedule and destination visualization, seat selection, secure payment options, and generation of electronic tickets. Currently, there is a diversity of applications designed to cover all kinds of needs and interests, from educational and work tools to applications that facilitate our daily activities. The project aims to manage the delivery of information about the academic and cultural activities of the Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial, in order to provide a centralized space to access information, receive relevant notifications, evaluate and share opinions. In the development of the mobile application "InfoApp", the Mobile-D methodology is applied in order to achieve an agile and efficient development process through periodic deliveries of functionalities. In addition, the Android Studio development environment with the Kotlin programming language is used. To manage the backend of the application, Firebase is used for database hosting and management, as it offers a wide range of services and tools aimed at simplifying backend administration. Among the services used are user authentication, Realtime Database for the database and Cloud Storage for image storage. However, this process has become complicated due to the decentralization of information by landlords. A diversity of means of dissemination has been observed, such as posters, social networks, and posters on poles and walls. This dispersion of information makes it difficult to gather and access information efficiently. The objective of this project is the development of a multiplatform mobile application aimed at the student community. Its purpose is to provide precise and updated information about the lodging options available in the surroundings of the Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Campus Huachi. In addition, it aims to optimize and streamline the diffusion of available rentals in this geographic area. The mobile application was developed using Flutter, taking advantage of its efficiency as a multiplatform technology based on the Dart programming language. In the backend development process. Firebase was used to host and manage the database, as well as for user authentication and to facilitate the sending of notifications related to university leases. In addition, the methodology used was Mobile-D. which has allowed to achieve an agile and efficient development through periodic deliveries of functionalities. As a result of this process, a mobile application was obtained that optimizes the search and dissemination of university leases in the surroundings of the Universidad Técnica de Ambato, improving the students' experience in finding a room for rent near the university campus.
