    Exposure to psychosocial risk factors generates physiological, emotional and behavioural effects on workers, generated by deficiencies in work design and organization. Therefore, the objective of the research was to evaluate the psychosocial risk in the staff of Encomeca, Enlace Comercial Ecuatoriano Cía. Ltd. The initial identification of psychosocial risk factors was carried out by applying the method for the evaluation and management of psychosocial factors in small companies, later the CoPsoQ-Istas 21 method was applied to the entire workforce (5 women and 26 men) to assess the existing risk in the company. The highest risk levels found corresponded to the dimensions of: work pace (100%), role conflict (58.1%), emotional demands (38.7%), job insecurity (38.7%), insecurity regarding working conditions (38.7%) and quantitative demands (35.5%). It is concluded that in general the 31 employees of the company are exposed to psychosocial risk, which generates job stress and manifests itself in psychosomatic ailments such as: fatigue, headache, back pain; Derived from the amount of work, deficiencies in planning, polyfunctionality of positions and interpersonal relationships. Finally, an intervention proposal was proposed to improve existing working conditions and reduce risk levels.
