    The present investigation has for object to establish if the content on the programming guide for channel Elite's 45 is based in a whole process of investigation and if that content can solve the needs from the Cotopaxian audiences. The contents of the audiovisual products must specialize in to inform, to educate and to bring entertainment to the audience. This fusion of conceptual characteristics will set if the channel can or cannot produce high quality contents while it shows a specialized research journalism. The segmentation of audiences for the production of contents is overriding to clarify an original viewer guide avoiding to play non sectorial content. If we think in a dynamic society exposed at the constantly changing from communication, how we don't think in a renewed journalism in their formats as well as its diffusion Is for that reason that is so important to study the present process of production and contents front audiovisual products from local TV media that are mimic for a conventional format that cannot supply with the communication insufficiencies of the audiences who are looking at new content.
