Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2021-09) Viera Andi, Jonathan Andrés; Mayorga Pardo, Alex SantiagoThe present technical project was applied for a house-building room of the Yasuniland Park in Coca city in order to provide energy to the place and to reduce the use of an electric generator avoiding air pollution with carbon dioxide and noise in nature. This project took into account the factors that affect photovoltaic installations such as the existing solar radiation in the area, which was taken from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL); and with the energy demand that the house has calculated the number of solar panels, the number of batteries and the type of regulator and inverter, in addition fuses were added to avoid short circuits which will provide greater security to the equipment. For this system a connection was designed in parallel with the solar panels and batteries, which increased the potential and obtained greater capacity of energy accumulation, which was regulated by the use of a solar controller, which allowed a system voltage of 12V. Finally, it was tested in 3 specific days: sunny, partially cloudy and cloudy, with a certain load value. Under these conditions, voltages, amperages and power were measured at the input and output of the solar regulator, achieving the behavior of the consumption of the batteries and ensuring that the photovoltaic system is functioning correctly
