    El phubbing y las relaciones interpersonales en los estudiantes de la Carrera de Trabajo Social de la Universidad Técnica de Ambato

    investigation of a descriptive, correlational nature, applied to a population of 188 students, aims to determine the existence of a relationship between phubbing and the interpersonal relationships of the students of the Social Work career of the Universidad Técnica de Ambato. For this, two instruments were used to measure the independent variable, an inquiry that aims to know the problematic use of mobile technologies, which consists of four subscales, each to establish attitudes towards acceptance, respect, authenticity and stability of interpersonal relationships. The information collected reflects considerable rates of phubbing in university students, as well as it incites to social isolation and causes various psychosocial damages that affect the well- being of the person. Based on the obtained results, it has been considered necessary to design a social campaign to avoid social isolation and the wastage of interpersonal relationships, caused by phubbing, it has been aimed at students of the Social Work career of the Universidad Técnica de Ambato, it consists of several activities that are focused at socializing, raise awareness and promote the responsible use of cell phones and the importance of social relationships.
