Desarrollo del sistema de gestión de mantenimiento para maquinarias Caterpillar en la inmobiliaria freire oriental Cia. Ltda.
(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería en Sistemas, Electrónica e Industrial. Carrera de Ingeniería Industrial en Procesos de Automatización, 2024-05) Torres Tipán, Edison Xavier; Ortiz Sailema, Christian Ismael
The objective of this project is to establish a set of procedures to standardize the maintenance activities for Caterpillar machinery at Inmobiliaria Freire Oriental CIA. LTDA. The project analyzes the processes involved in both preventive and corrective maintenance of the machines. The recommended service hours for maintenance provided by Caterpillar were identified. A maintenance schedule was established to organize and prioritize maintenance activities according to their importance and urgency. A manual was created specifying the actions to be performed in each maintenance procedure, such as changing, performing, lubricating, and inspecting. The aim is to ensure that the excavators operate optimally and to prevent failures or issues that could cause production stoppages and economic losses. Additionally, the project promotes the incorporation of new work methods and the optimization of raw material resources. Preventive and corrective maintenance plans are implemented to keep the machinery in optimal condition and to minimize the impact on operational continuity.
