    Trastorno de Gilles de la Tourette

    This analysis of clinical case is a descriptive and retrospective study whose general objective was to determine an appropriate psychotherapeutic treatment plan for a patient with disorder Gilles de la Tourette. This condition has as an element of main diagnostic identification, the presence of tics, however in this case have been identified obsessions mystical type that have been affecting the social development of the patient, so characteristic symptoms of depression that included suicidal ideation and attempted suicide, by which it had to resort to internment the patient to avoid self-harm. The case relates to a 22-year-old who goes to private psychiatric consultation by the presence of simple motor tics, complex and obsessions, the clinical picture worsens at the age of 21 years of the patient so he is hospitalized for attempted suicide it is valued again and discover that your depressive symptoms are due to the typical symptoms of the disorder, Gilles de la Tourette. During the internment pharmacological evaluation and psychological evaluation, courses uncomplicated, can show a marked improvement but most symptoms associated with tics and obsessions are kept at a low level, concluding that the initial diagnosis was correct however importance subtracted most symptoms manifested by the patient.
