    “Evaluación de la intervención fisioterapéutica aplicada en lumbago no especificado en el hospital del IESS de la ciudad de Ambato”

    This research project had as main objective to evaluate the physiotherapeutic intervention applied to lumbago not specified within this objective is to define the treatment processes used in the area of physical therapy of the hospital (IESS) - Ambato and to determine the perception of improvement in relation with the treatment they receive in this service. This field research developed under a descriptive qualitative approach since through observation, data collection and thanks to the surveys performed to patients who met the acceptance criteria to include them in this research and the cooperation of the professional who provides their service in the area of physical therapy of the hospital we know that 90% of the patients present improvements consisting of compresses and electrotherapy as the physiotherapeutic methods that most relieve the symptoms among the patients. Another of the important data obtained was that 100% of the professionals who attend the service agree that the physiotherapeutic intervention is appropriate for the treatment of low back pain which corroborates that the treatment has achieved positive results among patients with this method of physiotherapeutic intervention and most importantly achieving the main objective that patients can reincorporate in their activities of daily living and improving their quality of life.
