For the purpose of carrying out the present experimental work in the first place it was possible to acquire the stony materials that were obtained from the Chasqui mine, then the aluminum powder was obtained in CEDAL. S.A and the hydrogen peroxide for the elaboration of the cellular block. Then, carried out the tests described in Ecuadorian Technical Regulation INEN 696 (granulometry of aggregates), INEN 857 (real density of aggregates), INEN 156 (real density of cement). For the tests performed at the cellular block are carried out in accordance with Ecuadorian Technical Regulation INEN 639. The analysis process was developed in a period of 7, 14 y 28 days in which they were carried out test of the granulometry of aggregates thin and thick, real density of aggregates, real density of cement, comprenssion test, absorption test, ensayo de humidity content test and real density test. Finally, the results obtained were analyzed and select a optimum percentage of aluminum powder and hydrogen peroxide was selected, which should be added to the conventional block in order to reduce its real density and increase its compressive strength.
