Item Las políticas públicas y factores que generan desempleo en jóvenes profesionales del Trabajo Social(Universidad Técnica de Ambato, Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Sociales, Carrera de Trabajo Social, 2021-11) Salazar Bonilla, Selena Estefanía; Martínez Bonilla, Carlos AlbertoThe purpose of this research is to study a current problem, focused on the analysis of public policies and the factors that influence unemployment, especially among Social Work professionals in the city of Ambato, a population that affirms that the fact of studying and obtaining a university degree does not guarantee a stable job; In turn, through this work we intend to diagnose if the professional profile of the social worker has high levels of knowledge, creativity and leadership that fit the labor market, as well as to study the particularities and conditions that public and private companies handle for the insertion of new professionals in jobs, and how the country through its public policies give support to new professionals in social work for the search for employment. The research is based on a mixed approach, which collects, analyzes and links quantitative and qualitative data in the same study, so it was necessary the application of surveys and interviews with which relevant information was obtained, concluding that current public policies on youth employment in Ecuador, help to address the factors that generate unemployment in young professionals of Social Work, allowing them to access a job through the various projects that have been created, reducing the unemployment rate in the country
