Carrera Organización de Empresas, 2017-09) Romo Muñoz, María Fernanda; Santamaría Freire, Edwin JavierThe gastronomy is one of the principal atracctions for the tourist who generates economic income to the owners of restaurants. This is a very important factor for the development of the economy of the canton. The objetive planned is determine the economic benefit which generates the gastronomic sector in the touristic destination Baños of Agua Santa of the province of Tungurahua. The present research work is oriented to know the insuficient, positive and economic impact in the gastronomic metodology of quantitative approach. It was obtained for the base data of autonomous goverment desentralized that realized to 120 owners of different restaurants. Proceding to the verefication of the hypothesis through the correlation of spearman. The resultes givens were valves between – 1,00 to + v1,00 that determine a positive and considerable correlation markedfor the independent variable gastronomy over the dependent variable economic benifit. I´ts was determined that 55%of restaurants owners state that the profut obtained for each dish is less to 3 dollars. It means that 48% of profits are about 500 to 1500 dollars. So the offerted gastronomy depending on the season allow a greater economic movement. It improves the life style of the local community generating Jobs opportunities.
