    This research titled "Consumer Behavior Mancommunity's Patate - Pelileo and its impact on the Tungurahua Province's Market Recycling” analized the relationship between consumption and recycling. The satisfaction of desires or needs start when people take the decision to invest their resources in the acquisition of goods and ends when they decide to get rid of them. The issue arises from the importance to take care of environment and its preservation. Several organizations are working together to increase citizen participation. Local governments have given importance to solid waste management including programs for waste separation within households in its strategic planning models. Consumer behavior and the recycling market are based on the theoretical framework through the conceptualization of the variables, based on the proactive critical paradigm. The survey’s results were analyzing quantitatively and qualitative way. The surveys were applied to the Mancommunity's people and the main recycling collection centers in the province, to establish management improvements made by the Empresa Municipal Mancomunada de Aseo Integral Patate – Pelileo (EMMAIT – EP) for recovery of daily waste that enter the landfill.
