In the study area, it was proposed to evaluate the drinking water distribution network because it is nearing the end of its useful life. The purpose is to determine the current hydraulic conditions, since, having exceeded its useful life, several problems have been generated, such as inadequate pressures. These parameters will allow the development of a proposal to improve the distribution network. The project began with a technical visit to the catchment source and the reservoir tank, as well as a tour of the current pipeline, which includes the distribution networks. During this phase, the condition of the pipes and fittings was analyzed. Subsequently, socioeconomic surveys were applied to all users registered in the SDAP and a hydraulic evaluation was carried out using a manometer to measure pressures. Based on these results, modeling was performed to identify deficiencies and evaluate improvement alternatives. The proposal for the optimization of the distribution system was prepared considering the population growth and the increase in consumption demand, with a projection period of 25 years, rectifying the conduction lines and establishing velocities and pressures according to the ranges established by the regulations. A reference budget was presented based on an economic analysis, accompanied by detailed plans showing the optimized distribution network and hydraulic installations.
