Item Diseño y construcción de un prototipo didáctico para la evaluación de ejes portadores de engranes rectos y poleas(Universidad Técnica de Ambato. Facultad de Ingeniería Civil y Mecánica, Carrera de Ingeniería Mecánica, 2024-02) Altamirano Palma, Oscar Javier; Robalino Tapia, Jhosue Alexander; Arroba Arroba, César HernánIn order to provide students with the opportunity to become familiar with a prototype for the evaluation of spur gear and pulley bearing shafts, we have designed a didactic prototype that is capable of meeting the knowledge and learning needs. To meet the Specific Objectives, an exhaustive analysis of the prototype component specifications was carried out; this was based on the design characteristics inherent to each element, using a practical example of a shaft incorporating spur gears and pulleys as means of power transmission. The design phase involved modeling each component, which allowed its subsequent simulation to evaluate its performance. The results obtained in the design of shafts, gears and pulleys were positive and validated using the finite element method. This validation ensured the integrity and efficiency of the designed components. Subsequently, the didactic bench was built, incorporating all the elements designed and selected according to the specifications derived from the previous analysis and design. To evaluate the performance of the didactic prototype, a demonstration plan was implemented to measure the level of interaction between the user and the equipment; this approach provided valuable information on the usability and effectiveness of the prototype. In summary, this research successfully culminated in the creation of a functional didactic bench that not only met the established objectives, but also provided a valuable educational tool for the study of spur gear carrier shafts and pulleys.
