A survey designed on the QUALTRICS platform was applied in order to know the consumer's acceptance of the product. The market study established the pattern in the development of the project since it allowed knowing the competing brands that are sold in different supermarkets in the cities of Ambato and Riobamba, in addition, it determined that the most suitable supermarket to sell the compote is Mi Comisariato. The feasibility study seeks the use of sweet potato and pumpkin as a nutritional source and as an entrepreneurial alternative that promotes the economic development of the sector through the development of a quality product. The technical study determined the size of the project taking into account the location, plant design, product formulation, process flow, machinery and equipment, as well as production capacity, which will be approximately 96 units per day. The financial study established that the company requires an investment of 30,826 dollars from which 82,944 dollars will be obtained in total sales for the first year, generating an utility of 12,929.35 dollars. Finally, it was concluded that the project is feasible because the financial indicators VAN, TIR, PRI and Balance Point present positive values, for which it is considered that the initially required investment will be recovered in a short term.
