    The fatigue of the materials is, undoubtedly, one of the subjects of major study on the part of the engineers, since it is the cause of around 90% of the faults of the mechanical elements, reason why the main objective of this work Thesis was to strengthen the rotary fatigue testing machine in order to acquire data in the Mechanical Engineering laboratories. For the repowering of the machine, information was collected from similar machines already standardized. Also, each of the elements that make up the machine was analyzed to know its functionality, also incorporating other elements such as: Mechanical, electrical and control to obtain data. It also has a data acquisition system, which consists of a control card that sends data to a computer through an USB A-B cable. The control card is programmed to calculate the number of revolutions by means of an encoder, measure the load applied by the load sensor, which is applied to a standardized test piece used in the fatigue test and the designed software performs the respective calculations for get the data. of the estimated limit of fatigue resistance.
