At present, the symbolic value preserved by the indigenous dress has had a crack in its significance, as a result of globalization and migration processes, thus generating an adaptation in traditional clothing and therefore the devaluation and little conservation of the meanings in relation to the indigenous worldview. The objective of this research is to develop a clothing registry of the indigenous peoples belonging to the territory of Tungurahua to contribute to the preservation and democratization of part of the cultural identity of Chibuleo, Kisapincha, Salasaka and Tomabela. The project is approached from the ethnographic methodology, whose purpose is the descriptive study of cultures for the interpretation of realities; In this sense, the cultural study carried out responds to the analysis and interpretation of the clothing of the indigenous peoples of Tungurahua, developed by collecting aesthetic, functional and symbolic information on the clothing that forms part of a theoretical basis for the development of the project. As a result of the investigation, a catalog of digital illustration was obtained that summarizes the indigenous clothing in its three occasions of use, accompanying the graphic part with the textual information of the meanings and functions of each clothing object, thus generating a catalog that is part of the patrimonial heritage that can be considered as a point of inspiration for future design projects; catalog that was developed in this integrative project through the Culturahua brand.
