In accordance with the provisions of the methodology used quantitatively with the universe of 52 older adults who attend the program and quantitatively with those attending the workshops. Talking about my best years implies talking about a population group that is far from exceeding sixty-five years old chronologically represents a saving of resources to the State through the public and social policies of the day. There is an acceptance of social services and at the same time questions that arose from the non-participation of the actors in the planning of actions aimed at promoting active aging. Mission as My best years through tentative and guarantee objectives are intended to show that it is necessary to give attention to those who need it most and to whom we give gratitude, respect and consideration, but in reality what is expected is to maintain the hegemonic structures of the same State, save resources, being important and necessary the presence of professionals with relevance in Social Work that far from being participants in processes of structural changes have become remunerated instruments that affect maintaining the status quo.
