    The present research project is carried out in the Electrical Appliances Chains of the city of Riobamba, with the purpose of proposing an improvement to the inventory management, for the administrative and operational procedures of each of the branch chains, in order to that decisions made by managers are assertive and timely. Due to the demand of its customers, these chains of electrical appliances have decided to expand nationally, creating branches that present some factors that do not reflect the results in line with reality, causing a high level of merchandise not necessary and therefore causes a slow return of working capital. For this reason, a model of inventory management is proposed that provides them with reliable and immediate information so that the managers of the electrical appliances chains can maximize their resources and assure their positioning in the market.
