    Sistema de tracking con monitoreo vital y variables de entorno para practicantes de senderismo en bajas y medias montañas

    ABSTRACT The current research project describes the implementation of a tracking system with a vital signs and environmental variables monitoring for trekking practitioners in low and medium mountains, this was born for the necessity to avoid possible human losses and accidents when practice this kind of sport. In the development of this work, the variables is getting in real time about the health state, weather conditions and athletes location, this provide a constant monitoring and it can use in different mountains of Ecuador. The work has two devices that are responsible for extracting information from the sensors connected to each other through Bluetooth technology, the variables are sent to a database for storage, the monitoring is carried out on a web page and on the device located in the bag. The first device is strategically located in the backpack of the hiking athlete, which is composed by a GPS card which extracts the latitude and longitude of the athlete getting the exactly position in each point to have the tracking route, the sensors that have this device are located to get variables of temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure as well. The second device is located in a glove, its function is monitoring the heart rate, body temperature and blood oxygenation, with an alarm system that were made to know if the values are according the ranges established and if they are altered, this create an alert that is sent with GSM technology by a text message tom inform the user.
