    The development of this research work was executed in the company INDU JEANS, located in the city of Pelileo, Barrio el Tambo, the same as its principal activity is the manufacture of jeans. To start with the research project the actual situation of the company focused on production was analyzed to find all the flaws present in the production process as well as the management of production costs. In INDU JEANS production costs are empirically driven, being as the main problem which is addressed by this project as well as the low register of materials and supplies used and control of all activities within the manufacturing process. The most appropriate approach to improving the management of costs is the implementation of a cost system for production orders, allowing the company to use cost methodologies that will open the opportunity for the company, get real, timely and accurate information.
