    Los agentes químicos y su incidencia en la salud de los trabajadores del proceso de tinturado de jeans

    ABSTRACT The present work developed in the facilities of the Company LAVATINTE SA, where the factors of chemical risks were investigated in the jobs of the process of tinctured of jeans; the intention of this investigation is to evaluate the level of the chemical agents that are in the ambience, the occupational diseases related to the use of chemical agents, the alternatives of solution that minimize these effects for the use and exhibition in the field of coloring. In this investigation teams of high technology were used, like a monitor of multiple gases, anemometer, environmental thermometers; meters of relative moisture, applying methods and recognized norms internationally, going so far as to determine the high risk levels. The obtained results reveal that in the ambience during the tinctured process substances as Ter-Butil were alcohol, Benzene, Phenol, Acetic acid, chemical agents that spoil the health of the workpeople; it has been established that the change of the work environment will diminish the contamination of the place of the work; and since solution of the problem has decided than by means of the construction of an industrial plant that contains a wind system of ventilation, which will diminish the levels of chemical risk and will improves the management of the safety and industrial hygiene to protect the integrity of the workpeople.
