The Company Ecua Palets focuses on the reuse of pine pallets that are normally discarded in companies after fulfilling their role as cargo unit in the warehouse area, and transform them into innovative furniture specifically for pet houses and room games. The company is in an introductory stage, therefore a previous study is required to guarantee the feasibility and acceptance of the products by the future consumers. Therefore the following research work has focused on conducting a study both internal and external of the import and export companies located in Ambato, which use pine pallets as cargo unit and present an accumulation of the same obsolete, generating a high impact environmental. Evidence from field research determines that this type of waste can be used and generate a profitable productive activity. In the city of Ambato there are 48 companies that are dedicated to imports and exports, which demonstrates that the raw material can be obtained directly. And in the current market there are no companies that offer innovative products made with recycled wood. The project contributes significantly to a business practice oriented towards social responsibility, and also to take initiatives to generate changes and support with ecological entrepreneurship ideas adjusted to the reality of the country and generate sources of income to society.
