    EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The present document realizes the identification, evaluation and mitigation of the risks of the Basic Hospital Baños, opposite to the eruptive process of the volcano Tungurahua, for the same thing, it represents a great contribution for this institution of health, instituting necessary measures to save lives and to avoid hurts; to answer before, during and after the emergency and to establish a system that allows that the Hospital should recover of the emergency and to return to the normality in a reasonable time. In addition, directives are established in a plan of management of risks to handle the eruptive process of the volcano Tungurahua, in harmony with the needs and particularities of the services that offer and the personnel that works in the Basic Hospital Baños.
