    La hipertextualidad en el periodismo digital en la zona centro del Ecuador: Análisis de las plataformas digitales de los periódicos: El heraldo, La Prensa y La Gaceta, durante el mes de febrero del 2018

    The objective of this research is to analyze the use of hypertextuality in digital journalism in the center of Ecuador on the digital platforms of the newspapers El Heraldo, La Prensa and La Gaceta during the month of February 2018. For them, uses a descriptive analytical methodology based on the direct observation of the digital editions of the newspapers analyzed, as well as the analysis of contents as an instrument, in an interview made to each of the newspapers. Determining based on the results obtained in the study, that the use of hypertext links in the platforms of the analyzed digital media is reduced to simple unidirectional links that expand the headlines or refer you to the next or previous news, without even giving the possibility to return to the main page of the newspaper. Proposing through the present investigation, the creation of a practical guide that helps to implement the correct use of hypertextuality in the digital contents of the analyzed newspapers, which can be defined with criterion the amount of hypertext per unit of content, as well as the different types of hypertexts that can be used according to their classifications.
