    The article presents an analysis of local development in the Community of Cunugyacu. An econometric study is carried out to identify the incidence of community tourism in the local development of the specific community in the quality of life of the inhabitants. A multinomial logistic regression model is used to predict different possible outcomes of a categorical distribution in the dependent variable (local development) given the independent variable (community tourism) that has real, binary, categorical. The results of the model indicate that community tourism is positive for the local development of the community of Cunugyacu, which means a better quality of life for the inhabitants.
