(2016) Mayorga Garcés, Diego Bolívar; Guerrero López, Jorge Ricardo
The objective of the study was to evaluate different inclussion dosis of the growth promoter GENEX 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3%, administrated at finalizing diet and at the same time been part of a mix feeding with fooder (Medicago sativa) and voluntary water conmsuption. Were used 160 guinea pigs, 5 male and 5 female by experimental unit, and a mont of age and 15 days of been separeted; were distributed in 4 treatments, 4 replies with 10 animals any one been part of stadistics design .The study was made at an experimental shed in 4 elevated moduls by 63 days . The given diet was T0 Control, T1 diet addew with 0.1% GENEX, T2 diet added with 0.2% GENEX, T3 diet added 0.3% GENEX. Body weight gain, dry matter intake, feed conversion ratio (ICA) and mortality percent were evaluated variables. GENEX inclussion dosis 0.2% from T2 show a better body weight gain with 619,38 g against other inclussion limits, 0.1% from T1 with 569,38 g and 0.3% from T3 with 576,5 g; inclussion rate from GENEX show significant stadistics difference (p>0.05) in front of T0 treatment 522,88 g. Dry matter intake from feeding GENEX treatments (T1 1732,45 g; T2 1732,25 g y T3 1732,13 g) was not affected by inclussion rate; however against T0, with 1729,35 g; exist a significant difference (p>0.05). Better feed conversión ratio got T2 with 2,8. Mortality was present only in witness treatment (T0) with 1.25%
