    The present research was carried out with the aim of studying the personality traits and the styles of love in the members of the ESFORSE Soldiers Training School of the City of Ambato, Tungurahua Province, where 605 soldiers between the ages of 18 and 22 years semi-professional staff. For this purpose, the Millon II Clinical Multiaxial Inventory is used as an instrument to evaluate Personality Traits and for Love Style the Hendrick and Hendrick Love Action Scale. Once concluded the investigation was determined that the personality traits do influence in the styles of love, in addition it was concluded that the personality trait with the mayor incidence is the dependent one and the style of love that appeared in greater incidence was the type of eros
